The film

Uncle Scrooge McDuck turned 70 in 2017. To mark the date  a team of independent filmmakers from across the world travelled to US and Europe to meet with his most

fervent and creative fans.

French director Morgann Gicquel knew this ducktale could not be complete without telling the life of  Keno Don Rosa,

world-famous author of the bestselling graphic novel

The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck

(Eisner Award for Best Serialized Story in 1995).

The film also features some of the greatest talents inspired by Donald Duck's grumpy Scottish uncle. To name a few: Tuomas Holopainen, leader of Finnish metal band Nightwish , Don Murphy, producer of the Transformers film franchise and

Katja Kontturi, the first PhD student to write

a thesis about Disney Ducks.

Shot on 16mm film as a tribute to the Picasso Mystery (1956) this duckumentary, shot in 7 different countries, received worldwide support

It won the Audience Awards of the Reel Pitch Challenge 2017 and premiered in France at the 46th

Angoulême International Comic Book Festival.
